The Rockford Park District is excited to partner with RCX Sports and BIG3 to bring an exciting new pilot youth basketball opportunity to the community.

Young3 League is the official youth-focused initiative and basketball skills program developed by the BIG3 professional 3-on-3 basketball league. Through its partnership with RCX Sports, Young3 combines skill development, mentorship, and competitive 3-on-3 basketball to create a unique experience for young athletes.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

• Learn the fundamentals of basketball through structured skill development sessions.

• Compete in the fast-paced and exciting 3-on-3 format.

• Build confidence, leadership skills, and teamwork.

• Hear from guest speakers and mentors who share valuable life lessons both on and off the court.

• Experience a program designed to make basketball accessible, fun, and development-focused for athletes of all skill levels.

The Young3 program emphasizes player development, sportsmanship, and community engagement while introducing youth to one of the fastest-growing formats in basketball. Through this partnership, the Rockford Park District continues its commitment to providing innovative, affordable, and high-quality sports opportunities that positively impact local youth.

• Middle School Girls and Boys (2026-2027 School Year)
